CARE TIPS
MAINTENANCE & PRESERVATION
Universal Preservation
Storage:
- Store all pieces in a cool, dry environment, ideally in individual airtight pouches to prevent scratching and atmospheric alteration.
Activity:
- Remove jewelry before swimming, bathing, or strenuous activity.
- Avoid thermal shock and sustained physical pressure.
Exposure:
- Prevent contact with perfumes, cosmetics, or household chemicals. Always apply these products before putting on your jewelry.
Metallic Elements (Silver, Stainless Steel)
Metal surfaces may gradually develop oxidation, patina, or surface wear through exposure to air and daily contact. Residues from skin and environment may also accumulate over time.
Maintenance:
- Use the included suede cloth (or a clean, soft lint-free cloth) to remove residues and skin oils.
- For surface disinfection, a single wipe with an alcohol cloth is safe; avoid prolonged contact or soaking.
- For oxidized metal, apply the included polishing stick. Use the green side to gently refine the surface, and the white side to restore luster.
⚠️ Polishing is a subtractive process. Use sparingly to preserve surface integrity. Not recommended for plated or coated finishes.
Organic Elements (Pearls, Wood)
Organic materials are porous and sensitive to moisture, chemicals, and temperature variation.
Maintenance:
- Use the included suede cloth (or a soft, clean lint-free cloth) for gentle wiping.
⚠️ Strictly avoid polishing sticks and alcohol wipes. Alcohol can dehydrate and permanently damage the luster of pearls and wood.
Inorganic Elements (Gemstones, Minerals)
Chemically stable but structurally brittle. These materials are resistant to oxidation but susceptible to impact and scratching.
Maintenance:
- Wipe with the included suede cloth (or a soft, clean lint-free cloth) to remove fingerprints and maintain clarity.
MAINTENANCE TOOLS
Suede Cloth
A soft, fine-textured cloth designed for gentle cleaning of metals, gemstones, pearls, and other materials. Ideal for daily removal of surface residues and fingerprints without affecting the integrity of the piece.
Polishing Stick
A dual-sided tool for restoring luster to solid metal surfaces. Use the green side to gently refine the surface, and the white side to restore luster. Polishing is a subtractive process; use sparingly and avoid on plated, coated, or intentionally oxidized finishes.
